Welcome to my artwork. Creating art is like meditation for me, I am inspired by all the beauty around me. Growing up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia I have a deep respect and love of nature. Artwork is a way to express emotion and your inner creativity. I have decided to only express good energy in my work by using bright colors and subjects that make you smile. Being a vegetarian most of my life I feel a true connection to all living creatures, I hope people feel this when looking at my art. Life should be fun and I have tried to project this thought through my work. We should regard people, animals, trees, rivers, even mountains in the same light as ourselves and realize that we all have much in common....

My first 'two-second' impression of this piece are those pink flowers look a little limp, which seemed like a symbol of depression to me. Also, the butterfly looks a little static. I do like the turtle, though.
